Due to vacation, I feel I haven’t linked enough to some good sites lately. Here are some quality links from around the web.
Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Dividend Investor?
The Dividend Guy put together a fun quiz to see if you’re a dividend investor.
Saj Karsan put this video on his cite from the BBC. This is an awesome video; watching it is about the best way to spend 5 minutes online.
Cheap Stock with Recent Dividend Hike
Dividend Mantra mentions a stock that recently increased its dividend and has a fairly low valuation. It’s a stock I currently hold, too. Also, Mantra released his monthly income/expense report, which is simply the most efficient I’ve seen. Even with a $500 plane ticket in this month’s expenses, he still saves a ton of money and lives very frugally and simply.
Defensiven has some good recent articles, including a review of Exxon Mobil’s 2040 energy forecast, and a list of some international moats.
Slow Growth and Fast Growth
Six Figure Investor discusses growth, and specifically dividend growth.
Andrew Hallam, blogger, teacher, and investor, recently released a book he has been promoting for a while. The result? He’s had to literally apologize for selling out of Amazon due to the book’s immense success! The reviews are fantastic. In fact, I’m in the same boat as a lot of people; I’ve placed my order for the book on Amazon a little while ago, and I’ll get a copy whenever they get more in. I could’ve gotten it earlier, but I slacked off and now I’m on Amazon’s list. And of course when I read it, I’ll review it here on Dividend Monk.
Dividend Progress Update
D4L provided his regular dividend update. He’s up to nearly $16,000 per year in passive dividend income. He’s aiming for $30,000 by 2017 and $110,000 by 2027.
If you’re looking for very condensed dividend information, this is the site to take a look at. Rather than write long articles, Dynamic Dividend provides concise lists of dividend stocks, and provides tons of updated information, like which stocks are raising their dividends, which stocks are inching up to high yields, and which stocks are starting new dividends.
$5000 per year in dividend cash flow
Intelligent Speculator shows how long it would take to produce $5k or more in passive dividend income. Awesome chart. He’s also got a post in Microsoft, that covers some of its pros and cons at the moment.
Dividend Aristocrats list for 2012
Dividend Growth Investor reviews the most recent list.
Weekend Reading and Dividend Hikes
My Own Advisor points out some of his dividend increases from Canadian businesses, and provides a number of quality links.
Invest It Wisely
